PRE-FALL '25
BEHIND THE SEASON
Each collection I create is part of a personal journey—an instinctive evolution shaped by how I live, what I love, and the visual world that surrounds me. Pre-Fall reflects this: an authentic, enduring wardrobe grounded in a consistent, design-driven point of view.
This season, the collection is deeply informed by my long-standing passion for mid-century modern architecture—especially the iconic works of Mies van der Rohe and Philip Johnson. Their homes—the Farnsworth House and the Glass House—have been a constant source of inspiration for me, long before I moved into my own Breuer house. Clean lines, honest materials, and the quiet power of restraint—these values continue to shape both my collections and my interiors. It felt natural to shoot this collection at the Glass House in New Canaan. The space itself reflects the spirit of Pre-Fall: minimal yet expressive, classic yet modern. Much like the house, the clothes remain untouched by time—refined and enduring.
There is a strong seventies influence this season. Understated, clean silhouettes with elements of rock and roll attitude define the mood of the season. Leopard—a signature since day one—adds boldness and edge. Leather is a key category, with classic blazers, bombers, and transitional outerwear made for both indoor and outdoor wear. The palette is grounded in neutrals—khaki, cream, and black—with accents of burgundy and rich cognac. A nod to Betty Catroux’s effortless style runs throughout: the way she wore a simple tee, sharp blazer, and tailored black trouser worn with total conviction.
At its core, this collection is about offering women something lasting and empowering. Clothing that carries strength, confidence, sensuality, and ease. It’s timeless dressing—with a modern, architectural edge and a touch of rock and roll.
